Saudi Readymix operates a high-capacity tube mill dedicated to producing premium cementitious materials. At this facility, we grind Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) to manufacture White Cement, Type II Cement, and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS). GGBFS is a specialized additive that enhances concrete performance by improving durability and compressive strength, reducing permeability, and minimizing the heat of hydration in mass concrete applications. Slag GGBFS
GGBFS is a cementitious material added to concrete to improve its durability and compressive strength, reduce permeability and lower heat of hydration in mass concretes.
White Cement
White cement is typically specified to ensure clean, bright, consistent colors, including light pastels. White cement allows a wide range of color options for producing structural and architectural concrete, as well as masonry and cementitious building products.
Type II Cement
Type II cement (ASTM C150) is a moderate sulfate resistance cement which cab be used when the exposure condition related to sulfate attack is moderate such as a concrete in touch with soils and ground water that contains moderate concentration of sulfate ions. C3A is limited to be maximum 8% as per ASTM C150.
Saudi Natural Pozzolan
Saudi Natural Pozzolan is locally available natural pozzolanic material that can be utilized in concrete products as a supplementary cementitious material. The replacement rate ranges between 15% to 35% based on the intended application.
The raw material sources are located in the western region of Saudi Arabia. The raw material is usually grinded in a local grinding mill facilities to produce a fine powder material that can be used in concrete.
The use of Saudi Natural pozzolan has several benefits to concrete such as a longer service life, less maintenance cost, reducing CO2 emission and increasing the local content.
